The Davis family farmed in Ardstraw Parish, Co Tyrone at both Whitehouse and Magheracreggan, adjacent townlands and in close proximity to the McCaskies, my great grandparents.

William and Robert Davis were presumably brothers.

Nothing more is known about Robert or his family.

However William married and had 4 known children:-

David Ann John William

David 1836-1922 married Annie (Nancy Jane) Patrick 1835-1922, in 1863 in Drumlegagh Presbyterian Church.

Annie was the daughter of John Patrick born 1815 and Olivia Galbraith who lived at Drumlegagh, Ardstraw. There were 5 Patrick children including Annie:- Sally, Liza, (Nancy) Annie, Robert and Joseph, all born Castlederg before 1847. John Patrick died on 08 Nov 1917 in Ontario.

David and Anne emigrated to Ontario Canada in 1884. They settled in March Township in the Carleton Region, Ontario. David died in Fitzroy Township, Carleton County
