Alexander Proctor born about 1771 from Lhanbryd married Agnes born about 1760 also in Lhanbryd - Alexander was a mason.

Their son Alexander, born abt 1808 in  Lhanbryd, married Elspeth Murray, born abt 1806 - also in  Lhanbryd - on 08/07/1824 in New Spynie They lived in 1871 at 8 Walkers Crescent Llanbry and he worked as a labourer or a woodman.

Alexander and Elspeth had 5 known children born between 1826 ands 1836 including:-

Isabella born 22/07/1826 who moved to Kelso Roxburgh and worked as a servant at Goschen Bank Kelso – as per 1851 census. Goschen Bank was part of Edenside Lodge, along with Goschen Cottage and Kerfield and James Tait banker & writer to the signet lived at Edenside Lodge as well in 1851.

Margaret was born on 21/03/1829 and Alexander was born on 08/04/1831 at New Duffus.

was born 1833 at Llanbryd and married  George Davidson - they had a son Alexander Davidson born 1859 at Llanbryd


William was born 21/05/1836 at Hopeman Morayshire


Isabella married George Lockie on 11/01/1853 in Kelso Roxburgh Scotland.

At that time George Lockie born about 1813 was living at Roxburgh St Kelso - unmarried flesher aged 36, living in the house of  Jane Lockie, a widow possibly his mother

George died 03/08/1879 and Isabella died 02/10/1878 both living at 14 Roxburgh St Kelso – he was by this time a master butcher. 

They had 4 known children Isabella Lothian born 20/11/1853 William born 31/08/1855, Alexander born 23/04/1858 & George born 21/07/1862. Children were born at Forestfield Kelso.

By 1881 Alexander was also a Butcher shopman and lodging with Jane Young born 1811, a gardener's widow at 3 Duns Wynd Kelso.

In 1891 Alexander was married to Ann Kyle Davidson, aged 30 at 145 Roxburgh St Kelso - they had a son George Lothian aged 4 and Alexander was a butcher manager.

1901 census shows Alexander living with his sister-in-law Janet Kyle Davidson as his housekeeper and his wife not there. There was a daughter Janet aged 11 and another son Thomas Davidson aged 8. Son George was an apprentice butcher.

Isabella Lothian Lockie married James Asher, on 01/01/1886 in Elgin
