John Henry and Harriet had the following children:-

Martha married Richard Rountree - he died in 1944. They had 2 sons and 3 daughters. She remarried
William Strong - he died in 1968

Son William died 18/10/1983 aged 59 and is buried in this cemetary Killafree - an old cemetery. - overgrown and neglected. The headstones are not easy to read. It may originally have been a Church of Ireland Cemetery.

Son Joseph went to England, son Emrys went to Canada, son Alfred  to S Africa and daughter married and lives in Scotland

William Rountree married Lizzie Porter, daughter of Joseph Porter and Jane Rountree from Ballyjamesduff Co. Cavan. Joseph and Jane were married in Moynalty Kells Co Meath in 1853.Joseph's father was James Porter from Ryefield Co Cavan. Jane's father was Isaac Rountree.from Mayo Moynalty .

Lizzie Porter's parenst went to USA and both died of a fever. Lizzie was a twin - her sister died on the boat coming home from USA - brought home by a nurse and raised by uncle Arnold Porter, hotelier of Ballyjamesduff and his wife who were childless

William and Lizzie had 9 children Ellen Mary Isaac,  Harriet, Lizzie, Jemima, Henrietta,   William, John Edward and Hannah,

Ellen Mary born 07/11/1875 married John Porter of  Co Meath, born abt 1864. He was the son of Robert Porter. They emigrated to Australia and arrived in Victoria in June 1894 on the Austral. They had married in Ireland just two months earlier.

Son William 1898-1938  Son Joseph died in infancy
Son Robert 1900-1934 married Mary Rebecca Nash  - their children William John and his twin brother  - some of William John's family are in New Zealand
